The logo depicts two of the titular Tancho koi fish, swimming alongside one another, reflecting the harmonious nature of chef and server in the omakase experience.
Bento boxes were designed from scratch, featuring separate compartments for each dish, custom illustrations, and a card with sauce pairings for each piece of nigiri.
The asymmetrical design of the box exterior creates an alternating pattern when stacked on the open shelving of the restaurant, while the logo is always presented correctly.
Tancho red, much like a treasured ingredient, is used sparingly. Premium paper finishes and production details accompany the brand system.
The design of the website mimics the signature bento box, with each section tucked away in it’s own square compartment.
